Washington Square West

Stretching from the restored area in Society Hill to the arts and office buildings of Broad Street, Washington Square West is an eclectic and established neighborhood that has changed very little over the last century. Antique Row and a cluster of hospitals attract a sophisticated crowd, and Wash West is also home to a thriving Gayborhood (see the rainbow street signs?). Like Society Hill and Queen Village, it’s full of lovely old townhouses, but it can be surprisingly affordable.
